The Missioners opened the scoring after just seven minutes, a Rhys Price cross from the right found last years under 18 top scorer Stafforde Palmer who shot under the keepers body and into the back of the net.

We nearly increased the lead on two separate occasions, the best chance saw Helmut Dayo beat two defenders but he was unable to convert. It was the 35th minute when the Missioners increased the lead, a Dayo cross being headed in by defender Ryan Tackley.

In the second half, the first real scoring chance that the visitors had created was tipped over the bar by keeper Lee Patterson but in the 75th minute the Spitfires pulled a goal back through Andy Forbes.

With the game in the fourth minute of stoppage time, victory was assured when Palmer stepped up to net his second and the Missioners third of the game.
